On December 20 the National Assembly continued the work of the extraordinary session. The NA deputies by voting passed in the second reading the legislative package the draft law On Purchases, On the Order of Glory, On Making Addendum and Amendments to RA Law On RA State Awards and On Amending the RA Law on the Order of Honour. The Article 1 of the bill On Amending the RA Law on Social Security Cards, which was included in the legislative package On State Pensions and the bill On Amending the RA Law On Prosecutor’s Office were passed in the first reading procedure.

Then the parliament continued to debate the legislative package envisaging addenda and amendments to the law On State Pensions and in a number of laws relating to it, which were interrupted in the previous sitting.

The Heritage, being for the aim of the government to make reforms in the system, is against the presented mechanism.

The member of the ARF faction Vahan Hovhannisyan noted that they were for the implementation of the reforms in this sphere but they were against the model under the debate.

In the final speech the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Social Affairs Hakob Hakobyan touched upon the sounded concerns and the view concerning risk dangers.

In his summarizing speech the RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan thanked the deputies for the concerning debates and said that the issue has been twice debated with the NA Speaker with the participation of the political forces.

The National Assembly debated the legislative package On Making Amendments and Addenda in RA Civil Code and envisaging amendments in a number of laws relating to it.

The RA Deputy Justice Minister Gevorg Malkasyan also submitted in the second reading the legislative package On Making Addenda in RA Land Code and On Making Addendum to RA Law On Self-Government.

The NA deputies in the first reading debated the Article 1, which was added in the draft law On Making Addenda to RA law On General Education, which was included in this legislative package.

The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan said that the coalition factions and the member of the Heritage faction Anahit Bakhshyan presented proposals, as a result of which the legislative package had been additionally drafted.

The debate of the issue will continue at December 21 sitting of the National Assembly.
